The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the dealership network. The role will partner closely with operational leaders, department heads, and executive management to drive performance through data-driven insights, financial modeling, and advanced reporting. This is a high-visibility role that involves continuous process improvement in a dynamic, multi-location dealership environment. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support short- and long-term planning for all dealership locations Analyze dealership performance by segment (e.g., Ag, Turf, Compact Construction, Parts, Service, Precision Ag) Provide monthly financial analysis and executive-level commentary on performance drivers and variances Support and lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes by location, department, and product category Track and report on key dealership metrics including absorption rate, technician productivity, and gross margin by department Assist with headcount and workforce planning across parts, service, and sales departments Provide capital investment analysis (e.g., new locations, shop expansions, equipment purchases), including ROI tracking Prepare and manage board and executive financial presentations Analyze pricing strategy, margin trends, and sales performance by customer segment and geography Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis, with a focus on inventory turnover and floorplan utilization Collaborate with operational managers and store leaders to gather insights and validate financial assumptions Improve operational KPI reporting and dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Targit, etc.) Handle ad hoc financial analyses and special projects from the CFO and senior leadership
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Strong understanding of dealership operations, preferably in agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment sectors Experience with business systems used in dealerships (e.g., JDQuote2, Equip, PFW/Integra, CDK) is highly preferred Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Targit, or Tableau Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 4–6 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance Experience in dealership, retail, distribution, or capital equipment industries strongly preferred CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not required SALARY RANGE $95,000-$125,000 plus a 20% target bonus.
