Job Overview
Telligence System Solutions is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Lead Technician to support an upcoming commercial project in Lynchburg, VA. This individual will serve as the on-site lead, responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation of structured cabling systems (Cat5e/Cat6, Composite Access Control/CaTV Coax)
- Perform cable routing, termination, labeling, and testing
- Oversee and direct helper(s) on-site
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
- Maintain quality control and organization of work areas
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including test results, schematics updates, and service reports.
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred – can obtain prior to start if needed)
- Proven experience in commercial low-voltage installations
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a jobsite
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Reliable transportation
