The Line Producer will be responsible for supporting news shows on VIX. This position will be responsible for managing the line production of daily shows, supporting executive producers with production and team management. Editorial contribution is also an essential part of the position.

Your Day-day
- Responsible for daily rundown, story placement, editorial input, and writing.
- Executing timing of live shows in the control room and making last minute decisions.
- Development and production of daily news graphics.
- Quick reaction to breaking news and possible show news updates
- Work on special news coverage and field coordination.
- Maintain communication with assignment desk, production, and technical crews.
- Must be able to back-time show, adjust rundowns effortlessly while on air
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism or Communications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in line producing/producing.
- Strong news judgement and knowledge of current events
- Experience with social media platforms
- Bilingual in English/Spanish communication both written and oral.
