Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Salary: $50,000 to $55,000
Supervisor: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Status: Full-Time Exempt, Monday to Friday
Location: In Person
Position Description: The HR Generalist will assist Telespond Senior Services with daily management of employee relations, benefits and compensation, talent acquisition and onboarding, HRIS and payroll management across multiple platforms as well as regulatory compliance and policy development and adherence. The HR Generalist role will work closely with the CFO, and other leadership to carry out HR and Operational functions which will aide in improving the wellbeing and fair treatment of all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as liaison to all employees by receiving, processing and resolving work related concerns such as pay and scheduling, team interrelations, health and wellbeing, reasonable accommodations.
· Compose communication documents such as letters, flyers, payroll memos, offer letters, letters of termination, personnel changes.
· Assist with hiring, orientations, training sessions, in-service programs, holiday and appreciation events for all staff.
· Maintain event calendars and coordinate anniversary and birthday recognition for all staff.
· Plan and execute a yearly employee appreciation event.
· Review and comply with all unemployment related claims, requests, and communications using Equifax.
· Work closely with the benefits brokerage firm to implement and roll out employee benefits and assist all employees as needed during initial enrollment and open enrollment seasons.
· Work closely with employees, leadership, and insurance companies to resolve Worker’s Compensation claims as needed.
· Manage and process all PTO, Flex Time and Work from Home requests.
· Maintain all employee files to include obtaining up to date Megan’s Law, Office of Inspector General, and Medicare Fraud checks, health screenings, criminal background checks, required training documentation, benefits and payroll related information, I9 completion and verification.
· Enter tax and pay related information into AccuFund Payroll/Accounting System as required.
· Assist with review and processing of payroll for all staff using Aaniie, HHAeXchange, and Accufund payroll systems.
· Ensure time clock adherence for all employees and review time clock information using Mercer Timekeeping System.
· Assist with preparation of reports, job verifications, and compliance audits as needed.
· Coordinate updates in AccuFund, Mercer and Aaniie as needed.
· Maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality of employee physical and digital personnel files.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or Health Care Administration Highly Preferred.
· 2-4-Years’ progressive experience in an HR related role, administering various HR functions.
· Excellent people skills and a willingness to support others in their efforts to balance work and life.
· A positive, professional appearance and attitude, and empathy for others and their overall wellbeing.
· A strong professional moral compass with a proven track record of maintaining absolute discretion.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
