Hiring Low Voltage Technicians / Cable Technicians to join our growing team.

Description: A Low Voltage Technician installs, leads and troubleshoots with Voice/Data/Video telecommunications cabling systems and equipment. The ideal candidate has proven knowledge of specifications, codes, concepts, practices, and procedures within the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Installs and terminates telecommunications cables (Category 5, 5e, 6, 6a, Coax, and Fiber Optics) indoors or outdoors in new buildings and/or pre-existing facilities.
  • Uses industry specific tools in accordance with safety guidelines. Including but not limited to; screwdrivers, pliers, crimps, strip tool, punch down tool, drill, hammer, ladder, toners and testers.
  • Works a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and graveyards.
  • Maintains good positive relationships will all customers and vendors at all times.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at work and/or while operating a company vehicle.
  • May travel long distances with occasional out of state and overnight stays.

Requirements:

  • Low voltage / cable technician experience
  • Proven knowledge of installation techniques of Data/Voice cable and equipment
  • Must possess a State issued Drivers License with a clean MVD driving record.
  • Demonstrates and follows proper safety knowledge policy and procedures
  • Has mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools
  • BICSI certification a plus but not required

  • Do you possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record?
  • This position requires climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, and working in commercial construction environments. Are you able to perform these essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation?

  • Do you have experience working in occupied commercial buildings and active construction sites while following OSHA safety practices?
  • The majority of our work is located within the Phoenix metropolitan area. From time to time, technicians are asked to travel to projects elsewhere in Arizona or neighboring states. Company-paid travel expenses and per diem are provided when applicable. Are you willing to travel up to 25% of the time?
  • Have you typically remained with each employer for at least two years? We are seeking candidates interested in long-term career growth and stability. If your work history includes shorter tenures, please briefly explain.
