Description:
Join Citizens’ Talent Acquisition team in a critical role as a Recruiting and Compliance Coordinator supporting employment-based green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process. This position executes highly regulated recruiting, administrative, and compliance activities that require accuracy, documentation discipline, and strict adherence to timelines, internal controls, and Department of Labor requirements.
In this role, you will manage PERM related recruiting activities including applicant tracking, interview coordination, and compliance documentation. You will partner closely with recruiters, candidates, Legal, and external immigration counsel to ensure all recruiting actions are completed consistently, timely, and in full alignment with regulatory and auditPrimary Responsibilities
• Manage applicant pipelines during the PERM recruitment window
• Review prescreening responses to document lawful rejection reasons and identify interview candidates
• Coordinate and schedule interviews using the interview scheduling tool
• Monitor candidate actions to ensure progress aligns with required PERM timelines
• Maintain accurate and timely records in the applicant tracking system and immigration case management tools
• Serve as a point of contact for recruiters and hiring managers on PERM timelines, required recruiting steps, and handoffs to Legal and external counsel
• Deliver a consistent and compliant candidate and employee experience throughout the PERM recruitment lifecycle
• Demonstrate a strong risk and compliance mindset by identifying and escalating issues
• Complete additional administrative and compliance related tasks supporting recruiting operations
• Adhere to Citizens policies, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards while maintaining professionalism and discretion
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience in administrative, operations, or recruiting roles within a regulated, compliance driven, or audit sensitive environment, or equivalent higher education and experience
• 1 to 2 years of experience supporting risk management, audit, or compliance processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines
• Demonstrated documentation discipline and experience maintaining audit ready records
• Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve compliance or process risks
• Ability to navigate change while consistently executing within defined regulatory requirements and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience supporting employment-based immigration processes, regulated recruiting, HR operations, or compliance functions
• Experience working in applicant tracking systems
