As the Quality Engineer, come and be responsible for implementation, execution and maintenance of ISO 17025 based quality management system for the WW customer service organization.
Responsibilities
- Review, audit, and assess calibration and test processes, and quality management systems.
- Plan and conduct internal and external audits and manage audit corrective actions.
- Administer quality tools and processes, including document control, management review, customer complaints, QMS training, and vendor evaluation.
- Provide advice on quality issues to multiple laboratories.
- Perform engineering and statistical analyses of calibration data.
- Coordinate with internal and external departments, including equipment manufacturers and accrediting bodies.
- Travel domestically and internationally (25% of the time).
- 2 years of Quality and/or Metrology experience.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, and ANSI/NCSL Z540.1/Z540.3.
- Experience with calibration and test methods, and laboratory operations.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methods (PSP, 5-Why, 8-D) and internal auditing (ASQ CQA preferred).
- Practical experience in evaluating measurement uncertainty.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or five years of experience in metrology.
- Ability to travel internationally.
