Building Automation Project Manager

Must have 5 years of HVAC experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key leader responsible for guiding the project team to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of BAS estimating, project engineering, programming and graphics standards, field manpower management, financial performance, project closeout, and customer relations.
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Mentor, train, and develop team members to support rapid growth and performance improvement.
• As workload demands, take direct responsibility for engineering, programming, and technical project delivery, serving as the primary contact for FMB team members, MEP coordinators, commissioning agents, and owner representatives.
• Ensure overall project success through accountability for completion, financial results, and customer satisfaction.

Job Specifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam.
• Skilled in programming Tridium Niagara 4 or comparable building automation systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional and positive attitude when engaging with clients, engineers, detailers, and union personnel.
• Proficient in budget management, scheduling, estimating, preconstruction, and construction management.
• Thorough understanding of Title 24, ASHRAE Guideline 36, NEC, and relevant local codes related to building automation systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred.
