Urology Medical Office Assistant

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Will provide both clinical and administrative support in a medical office setting. This role supports patient flow, assists healthcare providers, performs basic clinical tasks, and completes clerical duties while maintaining patient confidentiality, safety, and a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy, safety, and infection‑control standards.
• Greet, check in, and assist patients for scheduled appointments.
• Verify patient identity using established clinical procedures.
• Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic health record systems.
• Measure and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood glucose levels.
• Provide basic patient instructions related to testing and specimen collection.
• Safely and appropriately use clinical and office equipment.
• Perform non‑clinical administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
• Assist with maintaining medical and office supply inventory.
• Complete additional tasks as needed to support daily clinic operations.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant training or certification
• EPIC EMR experience (required)
• Patient‑focused, customer service–oriented approach
• Ability to follow established procedures and work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment

This is a Contract position based out of Trumbull, CT.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
