Job Description
Our Client is looking to add a Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician to assist with the day-to-day IT workloads out of their Marion, AR manufacturing facility. They are looking to bring in someone that has experience with providing general IT support for end users, light network troubleshooting, and making sure that systems are online and functioning as they should. They will be partnered with one of the FTE’s to ensure that the 250 or so office-based employees are supported on site. They also have a separate team established that handles the existing plant IT systems so this should be strictly a corporate style IT position for the site.

Technology In The Environment
- Strictly Windows based environment for end points
- Monitor the infrastructure services related to Microsoft outlook, o365
- Provide active directory support including changing user privileges, onboarding of new accounts, off boarding of old accounts, password resets, etc.
- Support VOIP phone systems across the office
- Printer & business hub support for mapping, connecting, and syncing end points to the printer
- Familiarity with basic DHCP, DNS, and other networking concepts.
- Imaging of new machines and wiping down of older machines for upgrades
- Familiarity of network equipment like servers, switches, cabling, etc. Do not need to be able to administer, but tasks like replacing a broken switch.
- Mobile device management, helping users get Outlook working on their messages

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Facility is in Marion, Arkansas: On-site 5 days a week, working a general day shift of 8am-5pm.
- Facility has both manufacturing as well as an office on site. This person will be hired to work alongside another IT Admin to handle the day-to-day responsibilities of the IT group’s users there. They have an OT Team that handles any plant related technologies out on the plant floor, so this will be supporting the office area.
- 1000 employees work out of the facility, but only 250 that have computer devices (the rest are going to be plant employees)
