Role Overview
This role supports safe, efficient, and compliant vessel operations worldwide and serves as a key communication link between internal teams, vessel operators, and external maritime partners. The position also supports market analysis, reporting, and sales coordination.
Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Collect and distribute market intelligence from various companies, ship brokers, traders, operators, the Baltic Exchange, and other industry sources.
- Track, analyze, and maintain port disbursement accounts and port restriction data.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network within the global market.
- Prepare and maintain monthly commission reports and related invoices.
- Provide internal sales support and communication coverage when team leaders are traveling
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Studies, Operations, Analytics, or related field. OR minimum of 2 years’ experience in Corporate setting in related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, or BI platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (Spanish is a plus)
- Some travel: Mexico, Japan, domestic, etc
- Hybrid flexibility with structured collaboration days (Tues/Wed)
- High visibility with leadership and strategic projects
