Role Summary
Reports to Supervisor and/or Manager. Responsible for front-line execution of the NA Export marketing and yield management strategies through pricing activity, lifting monitoring against award, customer performance evaluation, and service contract maintenance.
Additional Responsibilities
2 industry experience and/or 1 function related experience preferred
Required Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred

ONE NA follows a hybrid work schedule requiring employees to work 3 days in the office (i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote each week.

Role Summary

Additional Responsibilities
- Strategize and negotiate rates in coordination with Supervisor and/or Manager and Strategic Yield Management including exemptions and deviations targeted at meeting business plan goals.
- Report to Supervisor and/or Manager any deviations from the standard conditions; coordinate with relevant teams to make sure rate offer reflects the cost factor involved
- Support Supervisor and/or Manager in providing marketing reports related to customers when setting up target accounts and departmental goals
- May attend face-to-face negotiation meeting with customer as necessary as directed by Supervisor and/or Manager
- Operational support and facilitation; along with Marketing Analysts provide support and assistance for setting up award/nomination for internal purpose to align with account allocation file and monitor actual lifting against the given award/nomination or account allocation per port-pair or per service lane
- Monitor, measure and take corrective action on pricing results. This requires communication of corrective action to the NA Sales staff when necessary.
- Assist to manage/maintain tools including cost table and transit time table and develop those tools for betterment/efficiency
- Proven abilities in fundamentals statistics and mathematical analysis.
- Available for possible travel domestically and internationally, as required
- Proven ability in fundamental and mathematical analysis
- Ability to envision, strategize and capitalize
- Acts with financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to react quickly to market changes and make timely decisions to improve business results
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Applies logical methods utilizing analytical skills and experience for best-suited approach; able to resolve complex issues
- Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of internal management, staff, and outside vendors
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, while remaining detail-oriented
- Proficiency in MS applications Excel, and Word
- Advanced knowledge of pivot tables and formulas in MS Excel
- Strong business acumen
