Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced electrical engineer to lead design efforts for data center construction projects . This role involves creating electrical designs, collaborating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs for data centers and produce construction documentation.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and budget requirements.
- Coordinate with local authorities for code compliance.
- Review and approve equipment submittals.
- Support construction phases and commissioning activities.
- Conduct site visits for reviews, audits, and system evaluations.
- Manage multiple projects across different regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
- 7 years in industrial or commercial electrical design.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Familiarity with Life Safety, IBC, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
- Experience with power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, etc.).
- Experience in fast-track design/build projects or large-scale technical operations.
