Role Overview:
We're looking for an experienced electrical engineer to lead design efforts for data center construction projects. This role involves creating electrical designs, collaborating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical designs for data centers and produce construction documentation.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and budget requirements.
- Coordinate with local authorities for code compliance.
- Review and approve equipment submittals.
- Support construction phases and commissioning activities.
- Conduct site visits for reviews, audits, and system evaluations.
- Manage multiple projects across different regions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
- 7 years in industrial or commercial electrical design.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Familiarity with Life Safety, IBC, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
- Experience with power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, etc.).
- Experience in fast-track design/build projects or large-scale technical operations.
