You’ll play a key role in offloading trucks, verifying deliveries, and checking out materials to internal teams.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
- Oversee offloading of trucks and verify delivery accuracy
- Utilize WMS to track inventory, update records, and process transactions
- Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure proper packaging and labeling
- Check out materials to internal departments and maintain accountability logs
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Communicate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate logistics
- Follow safety protocols and report any issues or damages promptly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks or forklifts (certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (email, inventory software, scanning tools)
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for 12-hour shifts
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
