We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer to support the design and development of modern data platforms using Azure and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Design data solutions using Azure cloud services
- Work with large datasets across structured and unstructured formats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions
- Implement CI/CD and maintain code repositories
- 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in data engineering
- Strong Azure cloud experience (data services required)
- Expertise with Databricks and modern data platforms
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark
- Experience with data architecture and ETL optimization
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake
- Exposure to data governance or AI/ML tools
- Hybrid (Austin, TX – 3 days onsite)
- Long-term contract engagement
