Core Responsibilities
- Modeling & Drafting: Develop detailed 3D models and 2D construction documents using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordination & Clash Detection: Coordinate multi-disciplinary designs (mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural) to identify and resolve conflicts using Navisworks.
- Standards & Procedures: Adhere to company, client, and government agency CAD/BIM standards and protocols.
- Documentation: Produce, edit, and update site plans, layouts, and technical drawings for construction.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to meet project goals and schedules.
- Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is essential. Familiarity with software like Navisworks, SketchUp, and Bluebeam is often required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a drafting or design role, typically within architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) firms.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of drafting principles, construction methods, and building systems.
