Revenue Cycle Specialist (A/R)

Work Environment Remote -

Can be remote in the following states: AZ, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI

Standard business hours (MST 8/9am-5pm)

Collaborative environment working directly with PFS leadership and AR teams

Working A/R - collections, denials, credit, refunds, cash posting

Fast-paced, high-change environment

Description

• Will partner closely with the PFS Director, AR leadership & Cerner Billing team to provide operational expertise in Cerner Millennium
• Answer questions from Cerner Billing Team, and leadership on A/R tasks within Cerner
• Will be doing AR and cash posting activities, and performing billing cleanup in preparation for Cerner wind-down and post–Epic go-live
• Responsibilities include supporting insurance AR, billing, collections, cash posting, customer service workflows, resolving unclosed and zero-dollar worklist items, identifying opportunities for AR cleanup and additional cash recovery
  
  
  

Will not manage people but will act as a subject matter expert, improving A/R efficiency throughout implementation

Must Haves

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience working in Cerner Millennium - needs to be an expert in navigating Cerner
• 5 years working full cycle medical billing
• 2 years in lead role (comfortable answering questions, coaching team members - including managers/directors - while maintaining production numbers)
• 1 years of experience working in Epic

• 1-2 years or projects/ contracts worked in an environment going through an Epic implementation/ go-live support

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
