What You'll Do
Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting, checking in, and registering patients
- Collecting and entering patient demographic information accurately
- Verifying patient and visitor identities using photo identification
- Reviewing and verifying insurance information
- Explaining and obtaining required consent forms and admissions paperwork
- Discussing payment options and identifying patients who may need financial assistance
- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with inquiries
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity
- Collaborating with team members to provide exceptional patient service
