We are seeking a detail‑oriented Credentialing Specialist to support provider onboarding and compliance. You’ll review provider credentials, verify licensure, maintain documentation, and ensure all information meets regulatory and organizational standards.
What You’ll Do
- Complete credentialing and re‑credentialing processes in line with policies and procedures.
- Send and track provider forms, ensuring timely completion.
- Review documentation, research discrepancies, and verify accuracy.
- Monitor licensing boards and regulatory reporting sites for up‑to‑date provider information.
- Prepare concise summaries and maintain compliant provider files.
- Educate providers on required forms and submissions.
- Prepare reports and templates using Word and Excel.
- Enter and update provider data across multiple systems.
- Respond to provider inquiries with professionalism and strong customer service.
- 1–2 years of credentialing experience, or 2–3 years of insurance verification/benefits experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task, problem‑solve, and maintain accuracy and quality.
- Professionalism and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
Candidates must complete:
- A basic Word assessment (70% or higher required)
- A basic Excel assessment (70% or higher required)
