  • Hours: 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays: Every other Saturday, 8:45 AM – 1:15 PM
    • When working a Saturday, a partial weekday off is provided
  • Lunch: 30–45 minutes (based on branch needs)

The Opportunity

The Member Services Representative / Member Advisor plays a critical role in building trusted relationships with members by delivering thoughtful financial solutions and outstanding service. This role blends consultative sales, account servicing, lending support, and transaction processing in a fast‑paced, relationship-focused branch environment.

You’ll serve as a key financial partner to members—supporting both current and future needs—while actively contributing to branch growth goals through product education and ethical upselling.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and deepen member relationships using a consultative, needs‑based approach
  • Open and maintain consumer accounts
  • Process consumer loan applications and support the full lending lifecycle
  • (including mortgage referrals, GAP, Credit Insurance, MBP)
  • Educate members on financial products and services
  • Calculate loan terms, rates, financed amounts, and payment structures
  • Perform financial and teller transactions; assist teller line as needed
  • Accurately document member interactions in the core system
  • Research and resolve member concerns by collaborating with internal teams
  • Partner closely with centralized lending and loan processing teams
  • Complete daily operational tasks such as scanning, reports, and documentation
  • Ensure full compliance with all policies, procedures, and financial regulations
  • (including BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC)


What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 6–24 months of similar or related experience (banking or credit union preferred)
  • 2 years of proactive sales experience, retail or financial
  • (goal‑driven environments such as wireless, electronics, or customer sales strongly considered)
  • Experience opening accounts and taking loan applications is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills, including handling difficult interactions
  • Proven sales aptitude and willingness to upsell financial products
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, including rates and percentages
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be bonded and obtain/maintain a notary designation
  • High school diploma or GED required


Nice to Have

  • Credit union or banking background
  • Experience in lending, collections, wealth management, or insurance
  • Familiarity with Symitar or similar core systems
  • College coursework or degree
  • Retail experience with measurable sales goals welcomed


Note: Candidates must be comfortable with upselling and cross‑selling as part of the role.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38950.00 - $45760.00/yr.
