Medical Phone Operator

We are seeking a highlyorganized and compassionate Medical Phone Operator to join our clinical team.As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role inensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This position requires excellentcommunication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multipleadministrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment Key Responsibilities:Professionally handle a high volume of incoming calls with excellent phone etiquetteAccurately schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendarsMonitor and respond to Epic In Basket messages and Work QueuesProvide administrative support to multiple healthcare providersMaintain a high level of customer service in all patient interactionsNavigate and utilize Epic for patient records, scheduling, and communicationEnsure timely and accurate documentation and follow-upQualifications:Previous experience as a medical receptionist, secretary, scheduler or in a similar healthcare role requiredExperience with Epic requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalentDetails: Pay cycle – weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered. Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8 hour shift between 8:00am – 5:00pmJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Farmington, CT.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
