IT Imaging & Deployment TechnicianLocation: Onsite – Columbus, Ohio (Eastside)Shift: First ShiftProject Duration: March 30, 2026 – June 19, 2026Pay Rate: $33/hourEmployment Type: ContractOverviewTEKsystems is seeking Healthcare IT Imaging & Deployment Technicians to support a high-visibility, enterprise-wide PACS implementation for a large healthcare organization. This role will focus on the onsite imaging, deployment, and configuration of radiologist diagnostic workstations as part of a transition to a cloud-based PACS platform. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role within hospital environments and is critical to ensuring radiologists receive fully optimized, high-performance diagnostic systems that support patient care and clinical workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform onsite imaging and deployment of radiologist workstations, including:Operating system imagingSoftware installationDiagnostic monitor calibrationPeripheral setup (monitors, dictation devices, printers, etc.)Configure and deploy diagnostic and viewing workstations tailored to clinical workflows.Collaborate closely with radiologists, PACS administrators, clinical IT teams, and imaging vendors.Conduct pre-deployment site readiness assessments (network, power, ergonomics).Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after deployment.Perform quality assurance checks to ensure systems meet performance, security, and clinical standards.Document workstation configurations, deployment progress, and asset tracking per project standards.Coordinate hardware logistics and software licensing with internal teams and vendors.Support network connectivity and ensure hardware/software compatibility across environments.Required Skills & Experience5–8 years of experience in IT Imaging & DeploymentStrong proficiency imaging and re-imaging Windows-based laptops and desktopsExperience with SCCM, MDT, or similar deployment toolsExperience configuring diagnostic workstationsPrior experience in healthcare IT environmentsSupporting clinical end users and healthcare applicationsPACS experience preferred (not required)Nice-to-Have SkillsDesktop and hardware troubleshootingStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience working directly with clinical staffGeneral IT hardware support experienceProfessional ExpectationsThis project is a top organizational priority with high visibility and executive sponsorship.Consultants must present themselves professionally and work directly with clinicians within hospital settings.Strong interpersonal skills and customer service are critical to success.High performers may be considered for future opportunities on similar initiatives.Employee Value PropositionOpportunity to work within a large, multi-state healthcare systemExposure to enterprise-scale healthcare IT environments and cross-functional clinical teamsDirect contribution to improving patient care delivery and reducing clinical downtimeHands-on experience supporting modern imaging technology that enables more efficient and timely patient careWhy This Role MattersThe organization is experiencing increased demand on its imaging systems.
