Health System has 3 hospitals and 25 clinics. They also have another 30 clinics live on Community Connect. They have 2500 employees. They have been on Epic since 2012.

• The position requires Epic Bridges certification and Mirth experience, with a preference for candidates with at least three years of experience. Rhapsody experience is a plus, but not required.
• The role involves working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, taking weekly rotating call, and attending two on-site department meetings per year (travel reimbursed).
• The ideal candidate is a direct hire, a cultural fit, patient-focused, responsive, a team player, and has strong communication skills with a good understanding of interface work
• Hours M-F 8:00-4:30 CST .
• The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $125,000.
• Epic Bridges experience and certification
• Rotating on-call weekly. (The on call schedule will be weekly, the team typically works out the weekly rotation amongst themselves.)
  
  
  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create and configure interfaces between Epic EHR and third-party systems, ensuring compliance with HL7 standards and proper message structure.
• Prepare and analyze test data, perform interface testing, and coordinate migration of tested interfaces into production.
• Set up ports, IP addresses, and message identifiers for connectivity between Epic and vendor systems.
• Act as a liaison between internal user departments and external vendors during interface implementation and testing.
• Monitor and maintain existing interfaces, troubleshoot issues, and update configurations as needed.
• Establish and maintain interface dictionaries and tables linking Epic to third-party databases.
