We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands‑on technical support in a Windows‑based enterprise environment. This role focuses on hardware support, end‑user troubleshooting, and basic network connectivity to ensure reliable day‑to‑day operations across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and end‑user support for PCs, printers, and a wide range of peripherals including label printers, handheld scanners, tablets, and Motorola handheld devices used in field and truck environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware break/fix issues, perform device replacements, and support installations and configurations.
- Support a 100% Windows 10/11 enterprise environment, resolving OS‑level issues, performance problems, and user configuration requests.
- Assist users with peripheral connectivity, device drivers, and workstation setup to minimize downtime.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting related to wired and wireless connectivity, device access, and printing issues.
- Document issues, resolutions, and asset updates according to IT support procedures.
- Experience providing hardware support for PCs, printers, and peripheral devices in a professional environment.
- Strong experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 in an enterprise setting.
- Baseline knowledge of networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a customer‑focused approach to end‑user support.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with IT team members as needed.
