Desktop Support Technician

Under general direction, the IT Technician is responsible for providing end-user

support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within a refining

environment. Working closely with onsite resources, the technician will gain

hands-on experience supporting network operations and administration, including

installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of refining business

systems.

Technical Skills

Proficient in supporting Apple iOS and mobile devices

Experience with ServiceNow (ITIL framework)

End-user hardware support (Dell/HP PC’s)

Windows 11 operating system

Application, networked printer(s), and adv network troubleshooting

Summary of

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and support field IT systems (including specialized

Laboratory PC’s), including desktop and laptop hardware

Configure and manage Microsoft Windows operating systems

Perform software installation and updates

Support network and stand-alone printers

Provide remote access support

Manage network switching and cabling

Maintain audio-visual equipment and mobile device connectivity

Support Cisco telephones and radio systems

Handle basic server hardware maintenance

Demonstrate proficiency in managing and maintaining network infrastructure,

including switches and related components

This is a Contract position based out of Dickinson, ND.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
