We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support loan servicing and loan operations within a banking environment. This role focuses on accurately entering, validating, and maintaining loan-related data across internal systems. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a high-volume, compliance-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
Loan Data Entry & Maintenance
- Enter and update loan and line-of-credit information into bank systems
- Process routine loan transactions such as:
- Payment postings
- Payoff processing
- Autopay setup and changes
- Address and basic account updates
- Validate loan data by comparing system records to source documentation
- Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Prepare loan and line documentation for imaging and record retention
- Track required loan documents and follow up on missing or outstanding items
- Assist with title-related documentation tracking and duplicate document requests
- Support Federal Reserve or internal loan pledging activities using established checklists
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and validation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and workflows
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Professional banking or operations center
- Standard business hours (Monday–Friday)
