Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of contact for members, aiming for first-call resolution.
- Deliver outstanding service aligned with organizational service promises.
- Meet established sales and service goals.
- Explain and recommend credit union products and services.
- Provide account information, assist with online banking registration, and guide members through digital tools.
- Handle a variety of calls, including fraud cases, product referrals, and general inquiries.
- Process financial transactions such as loan payments, transfers, and check withdrawals.
- Facilitate wire transfers, payroll allocations, and provide rate information.
- 2 years of customer service experience in financial services (banking or insurance; not mortgage-heavy roles).
- Comfortable with sales and upselling products/services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with computers and quick to learn new systems.
- Stable work history (minimum 1.5 years at each position).
Disqualifiers
- Collections-only experience.
- Order-entry call center roles.
- Poor tenure or frequent job changes.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods.
