Location: New York, New York, 10011 ( Hybrid- in office Tues- Thur WFH- Mon, Fri )

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Representative Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting sales and marketing initiatives, managing CRM data, conducting research, and assisting with lead generation. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & CRM Management
  • Accurately input and maintain customer and prospect data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms.
  • Customer & Account Research
  • Research target accounts using LinkedIn, Google, ZoomInfo.
  • Identify key decision-makers and gather company intelligence (industry, size, revenue).
  • Lead Generation Support
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through online research and outreach.
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists.
  • Sales & Marketing Support
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team.
  • Assist in initial outreach via email or phone.
  • Learn and utilize tools like ZoomInfo for contact information.
  • Account Management Support
  • Support Account Managers with renewals and upselling opportunities.
  • Handle outbound and inbound activity when AMs are unavailable.
  • Event Participation
  • Attend networking events and assist in driving business opportunities.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong interest in sales and business development.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Google, ZoomInfo highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in sales, customer service
  • Comfortable with technology and adaptable to multiple platforms.
  • Debate, sports, or sales class experience is a plus.


KPIs

  • Inbound and outbound activity.
  • Meetings scheduled.
  • Number of renewals completed.


Growth Opportunities

  • Potential for internal mobility and future sales roles within the organization.


Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.60 - $24.60/hr.
