Applications Engineer

Description

This role is a pre‑ and post‑sales Applications Engineer supporting Flange Isolation Kits (FIK) and Monolithic Isolation Joints (MIJ). It is intended as an entry‑level to early‑career role with strong growth potential.

Responsibilities Include

• Handling ~60–70% customer interaction: calls, emails, presentations, internal support, and technical research.
• Supporting sales teams with technical expertise during customer conversations.
• Providing post‑sales support including install guidance and troubleshooting (includes site visits).
• Conducting root cause analysis, field support, and occasional global travel (Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America).
• Learning corrosion basics, cathodic protection, flange specifications, and GPT product design fundamentals in the first 3 months (supported by GPT on-the-job and other training efforts).
• Growing toward autonomous customer-facing work, presentations, and potential future paths (sales engineering, product management, or R&D/product development).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheat Ridge, CO.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
