- Application & Technical Support Experience - Demonstrated experience providing hands‑on support for business-critical applications, including troubleshooting incidents, performing root‑cause analysis, and resolving user‑reported issues in a production environment. - Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk) and following ITIL-based support processes. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, QA) to escalate and resolve complex issues. 2. Application Development / Systems Integration Exposure - Practical understanding of application development concepts, software deployment processes, and system integration workflows. - Experience supporting or working with APIs, middleware, SQL databases, or enterprise application platforms. - Ability to interpret application logs, investigate integration failures, and assist with patching, configuration changes, and release activities. 3. Scripting & Automation Capabilities - Hands-on experience writing or modifying scripts using languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, and Batch to automate routine tasks, streamline application operations, or enhance system monitoring. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing scripts to improve performance or reliability. - Exposure to automation tools or monitoring platforms (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, SolarWinds) is a plus. Nice to Have: - Basic SQL proficiency for querying logs or validating data. - Understanding of Windows-based environments, IIS, or Active Directory. - Experience with code deployments or release coordination (junior DevOps exposure). - Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
