Key Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Verify and document incoming materials and equipment against purchase orders.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure data integrity.
- Organize and optimize storage areas for efficiency and accessibility.
- Warehouse Operations
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and effectively.
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and staging materials for distribution.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols at all times.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems.
Preferred:
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and carrier requirements.
- Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
