Fire Technician

About the Role

This is an immediate Role. We are looking for people to Start Monday December 1st.
We are seeking a motivated Fire Alarm Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install and program control panels and related equipment for fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install and program control panels and fire alarm equipment using building plans and electrical layouts.
• Mount sensors in optimal locations, including drilling and accessing crawlspaces or attics for wiring.
• Install wiring to connect system components, adhering to safety standards and customer preferences.
• Demonstrate system functionality to customers and address any questions or concerns.
• Inspect and test systems to ensure proper performance and compliance with safety requirements.
• Review installation manuals, building plans, and work orders to determine optimal component placement.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring; order and install replacement parts as needed.
• Complete and submit documentation and reports for each installation or repair visit per company SOPs.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Fire Alarm & Detection Equipment or equivalent

This is a Contract position based out of Alameda, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
