ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established
specifications and standards.
Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between
original drawings and final CAD designs.
Transforms initial rough product designs into working documents using
computer aided design (CAD).
Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
Works independently within established procedures associated with the
specific job function.
Other duties as assigned by management. Ability to work in all AutoCAD
versions and be able to quickly adapt to new CAD standards and procedures.
Strong background in customer service preferred.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and
Excel, required.
Be able to create and maintain accurate drawings and documents in a timely
manner.
Be able to read blueprints, drawing and specifications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple assignments.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and
verbal.
Must be a strong team player.
Must be able to keep track of time worked on projects and apply time towards
each project worked to maintain utilization.
Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of both manual and electronic
drawings
Support and operate associated plotters and printers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: The basic qualifications listed below are representative
of the relevant knowledge, skills, and/or experience required in order to be
hired. These are the requirements that we have determined are the minimum a
candidate must have in order to be successful in this role.
3 to 5 years CAD experience, knowledge in low voltage systems pertaining to
security and life safety systems preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Livermore, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
