Accounting Manager (with Deltek Costpoint)
Responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing use and enhancement of Deltek Costpoint for accounting operations.
- Oversee and manage core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, travel, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including assisting in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of monthly invoices.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and government regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance support cash flow management and financial planning.
- Assist with training team members on financial systems and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experienced in Deltek Costpoint (Costpoint Administrator experience a plus).
- Supervisory experience leading and mentoring a small team.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a government contracting or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of government contracting financial management and federal regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA or master’s degree preferred but not required.
