Job Overview
We are looking for an outgoing and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for photography, videography, and visual technology. You will work with photographers and videographers of all skill levels, helping them find the right equipment and solutions based on their needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with selecting cameras, lenses, and photography accessories.
- Understand customer needs and recommend the right products and solutions.
- Learn product lines, features, and new equipment releases.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
- Handle photo lab and camera repair intake at the counter.
- Provide basic technical support for photography equipment.
- Maintain product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
- Support photography classes and photo walk events (optional).
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Interest or experience in photography, videography, or visual arts.
- Ability to understand customer needs and make product recommendations.
- Willingness to learn camera equipment and technology.
- Retail sales experience is preferred.
- Photography experience is a plus, but professional photography experience is not required.
Schedule
- Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays.
- Store is closed on Sundays.
- One additional day off between Monday and Saturday.
