What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate position at Teksky LLC?
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex commercial disputes, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and supporting litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey and/or New York.
- Experience in commercial litigation or complex business disputes.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with complex commercial litigation.
- Experience in contract disputes, business torts, and corporate litigation.
- Familiarity with New Jersey and New York state and federal court procedures.
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
