Are you a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical skills? We’re seeking a Field Service Technician/Mechanic who thrives in the field, enjoys diagnosing complex equipment issues, and takes pride in getting machines back to peak performance.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction and crushing/screening equipment.
- Work across multiple systems: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and powertrain.
- Perform preventive maintenance and general machine servicing.
- Use laptop diagnostics, gauges, and instruments to detect and resolve faults.
- Disassemble/reassemble equipment per manufacturer standards using hand and power tools.
- Review manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete service tasks.
- Manage parts ordering and repair documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma/GED required; technical training a plus.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment service & repair.
- Valid Class B CDL.
- Knowledge of basic welding and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-service environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; self-motivated work ethic.
Additional Details
- Travel: ~25% or more.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; role involves standing, walking, and handling tools regularly.
