Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 6–7 years of experience supporting and automating production systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, Linux operations, and application troubleshooting, and works closely with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Groovy, and YAML
Manage infrastructure and configuration automation using Chef
Monitor applications and infrastructure using Splunk and other monitoring tools
Create and manage Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports for proactive issue detection
Perform application and system troubleshooting across production and non-production environments
Support day-to-day operations, including incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate operational tasks
Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems
Work with PL/SQL for basic database troubleshooting and support
Follow ITIL/ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management
Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during critical production issues
Required Skills & Experience
6–7 years of experience in DevOps, Operations, or SRE roles
Strong hands-on experience with Splunk (searches, dashboards, alerts)
Experience with Chef for configuration management
Proven experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
Strong Linux administration skills
Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash)
Experience with Git version control
Hands-on experience with Groovy and YAML
Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools
Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks
Experience in application troubleshooting and production support
Working knowledge of PL/SQL
