As the operations project lead, you will translate ideas into action, guiding complex efforts from kickoff through closeout while partnering closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams.A Day in the LifeStart by reviewing project milestones, budgets, and timelines, recalibrating plans as needed to keep delivery on target.Walk the floor with engineering, operations, and quality to align goals and resolve constraints before they become roadblocks.Identify risks early and activate practical mitigation strategies that protect schedule, cost, and scope.Host concise updates for stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and swift decision-making.Champion safety and compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards across every phase of work.Facilitate training and workshops that elevate team capabilities and strengthen project discipline.Hunt for process improvements that reduce cost and cycle time without compromising quality.What You Will OwnEnd-to-end delivery of multiple projects, from initiation and planning through execution and closeout.Detailed plans, schedules, and budgets, with continuous tracking against benchmarks.Cross-functional coordination to keep engineering, operations, and quality moving in sync.Structured communication to stakeholders on status, risks, and next steps.Safety-first execution aligned with regulations and standards.What You BringBachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally in steel or manufacturing.Mastery of project management methods and toolsets.Clear, confident communicator who can lead diverse teams.Proficiency with project software such as MS Project, Asana, or comparable tools.Analytical, detail-focused problem solver.Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment while handling multiple priorities.PMP certification is a plus.If you thrive on making complex work simple and delivering real results in a production environment, we would love to connect.
