Material Handler - Aerospace Manufacturing

A precision manufacturing company in the Rochester area is looking to add a reliable Material Handler to their 1st shift team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with growth potential in a clean, organized, and team-oriented machining environment.

Responsibilities

• Supply raw materials, components, and tooling to production departments

• Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts

• Stage materials for machining and assembly lines based on production schedules

• Receive, verify, and organize inbound materials

• Handle shipping and packaging tasks as needed

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality teams to maintain workflow

• Assist with other warehouse and material support tasks as required

Qualifications

• 1 year of material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience

• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

• Comfortable working in a machining or manufacturing environment

• Basic computer or ERP system experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production priorities

• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
