Job Role: Artificial Intelligence Engineer
Location: Norfolk, Virginia, United States
Security Clearance: Active National Security Clearance (Secret level or above)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI-driven software systems with high scalability, performance, and security
- Implement and optimize machine learning models for real-world applications
- Build and manage secure data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
- Develop and integrate APIs and system interfaces for AI solutions
- Deploy AI applications using cloud platforms and containerization tools
- Ensure compliance with secure coding practices and data protection standards
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Create and maintain technical documentation and system architecture designs
- Continuously improve AI systems using modern engineering practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6 years of experience in software development and AI/ML implementation
- Strong programming expertise in Python, C , or Java
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with AWS or Azure
- Strong knowledge of data processing, databases, and scalable systems
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in API development and system integration
- Understanding of secure software development and handling sensitive data
- Strong communication and documentation skills
