Warehouse Logistics & Forklift Operations Specialist

Still privately held and family-led, we thrive on long-term relationships and teamwork to create better products for customers around the world.Your day at a glanceYou clock in at 8:00am, review the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist, and get to work moving materials with precision. You stage, load, and unload pallets from trucks and storage locations, verifying that every load is secure and damage-free. Throughout the day you keep the warehouse tidy, follow department SOPs, and lend a hand wherever needed—because manufacturing is a team sport. When rail cars arrive, you connect and disconnect them safely in all weather. You’ll also learn to operate a turret truck, re-slot materials to optimize space, and transfer inventory as needed. Each month—and at year-end—you help prepare and participate in physical inventories of raw materials.What you’ll handleSafe operation of forklifts and (with training) a turret truck to move goods, pallets, and equipmentLoading/unloading trailers and relocating materials within the warehouseLoad verification, damage checks, and adherence to SOPsHousekeeping to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work areaConnecting/disconnecting rail cars daily, regardless of weather conditionsSpace planning, slotting, and inventory transfers to improve utilizationSupporting other logistics tasks as assignedContributing to monthly and year-end raw material physical inventoriesWhat you bringAbility to read and understand English and apply basic mathHands-on experience driving forkliftsClear written and verbal communication and a sharp eye for detailHigh school diploma or GEDShift: 8:00am to 5:00pmCompliance and physical expectationsEssential Physical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.
