Your Night Begins at 6:45 PM You arrive, gear up, and review the production schedule. You confirm item and lot numbers, verify quantities, and stage materials for blending and extrusion. As the line comes up to speed, you monitor quality, document production data clearly, and keep your area orderly. Safety is constant—your own and your teammates’. When troubleshooting is needed, you collaborate, adjust, and keep the run on target. Paid breaks help you recharge during the 12-hour shift, and built‑in overtime on Sundays and time over 40 hours a week adds up. What You’ll Do Follow written and verbal directions to run jobs accurately.Verify manufacturing details: item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities.Record production information legibly on required forms.Maintain housekeeping standards and a safe work environment.Monitor personal safety and watch out for the team.Complete ongoing computer-based training using basic PC skills. Bring or Build These Advanced Skills Polymer blending operations.Extruder setup and operation.Troubleshooting process issues.Mechanical aptitude and problem solving.Leadership potential on the floor.Safe forklift/fork truck operation. Physical Demands Lift up to 55 lbs.Stand for extended periods.Routinely climb, bend, and stretch. Schedule 12-hour shifts: Day 6:45 AM–7:00 PM; Night 6:45 PM–7:00 AM.Seven workdays every two weeks: Week 1 (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday); Week 2 (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday).Built-in overtime includes Sundays and all hours worked over 40 per week.Voluntary overtime available.
