If you thrive on accuracy, communication, and momentum, this role puts you at the center of it all.Why This Role MattersEvery compound charge you execute—and every label you apply—drives quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll keep the blender prepped, packaging tuned, and documentation airtight so the operation runs without a hitch.What You’ll Take OnMaster Line 4 Blending and jump into other assignments when needed.Confirm TA item code numbers, all lot numbers, and raw material weights prior to blender charging.Clean and inspect the blender to ensure it’s ready for the next compound charge.Stage raw materials and perform all hand-adds strictly according to the blender batch card.Follow the production schedule and customer packaging instructions; pack, label, weigh, and seal every product correctly.Immediately report any schedule issue, instruction concern, or procedural deviation to the Bagger Leadman or supervision, and document on the batch card.Generate labels and align/affix them accurately to each package container.Complete packaging equipment changeovers quickly, cleanly, and safely; communicate with mill area operators once finished.Prepare future shift packaging needs (e.g., Gaylords, Supersacks) in advance.Scan/enter all finished products into the computerized tracking system.Maintain excellent housekeeping, wear required PPE, hit plant KPIs, and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.What Helps You SucceedComfort reading and understanding English with good basic math skills.Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift and electric hand truck.Work HoursNight Shift - (10:45PM - 7:00AM)Equal OpportunityTeknor Apex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any protected status under state or federal laws.
