Still privately held—and still led by the Fain family—we’re known for close-knit teams and lasting customer relationships that power smart, tailored solutions.As our Industrial Maintenance Electrician – Controls & Automation, you’ll keep production running by diagnosing and repairing plant electrical and control systems. You’ll move from urgent line calls to planned installs, ensuring safety and reliability at every step. A Day in the Life Triage production calls, troubleshoot machine electrical issues, and complete repairs to minimize downtime.Diagnose and resolve PLC faults (Allen-Bradley preferred), and adjust programs when needed.Update, repair, and maintain HMIs, PLCs, and VMDs to keep interfaces accurate and responsive.Partner with the Process Engineer on project installations and equipment upgrades.Analyze electrical malfunctions across equipment and related components; correct issues quickly to protect throughput.Support emergency and general maintenance—including weekend and off-shift coverage when required.Apply company safety procedures; participate in plant-wide safety initiatives and act on STOP Card findings.Monitor and manage critical spare-part inventory; flag gaps before they affect uptime.Complete monthly computer-based training and follow all policies, procedures, and rules.Read and interpret one-line diagrams, ladder logic, and manuals; use meters, hand tools, and shop equipment with confidence.Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders; collaborate daily with all functional teams.Take on other duties as assigned to support team goals. What You Bring Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician License.At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment; minimum 2 years in electrical maintenance.High school diploma.Heavy industry experience with electrical systems and production equipment (required).HMI experience preferred (we’ll train).Allen-Bradley PLC exposure preferred (we’ll train).Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems is a plus.Ability to work long or irregular hours on your feet and lift 50 lbs.
