Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI and support in administrating the Microsoft Power BI/Fabric service. This role translates business requirements into visual dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making and additional ensures uptime of the Microsoft Power BI/Fabric infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Connect to various data sources and transform data using Power Query and DAX.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver intuitive visualizations.
- Optimize performance of data models and reports for large datasets.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI solutions.
- Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of BI assets.
- Maintenance and support of the Microsoft Fabric capacities, Power BI service, and Power BI Gateways.
Skills:
- Proven experience with Power BI, including Power Query and DAX.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Experience with Power BI Gateways.
- Experience with built-in deployment pipelines and familiarity with GitHub Enterprise integration a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with Azure services, Power Platform, Databricks, or other BI tools is a plus.
