Developer - Power BI (907)

Looking for a PowerBI & Data Analyst strong with DAX, PowerQuery, Python and visualizations.


Location: hybrid in Jersey City, NJ


Length: 6 month contract



Summary: Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role translates business requirements into visual dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Connect to various data sources and transform data using Power Query and DAX.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver intuitive visualizations.
• Optimize performance of data models and reports for large datasets.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI solutions.
• Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of BI assets.

Skills: Proven experience with Power BI, including Power Query and DAX. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases. Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets. Familiarity with Azure services, Power Platform, or other BI tools is a plus. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
