System Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong experience in system integration, validation, and verification of embedded automotive or off-highway systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with software, hardware, and validation teams to support system-level testing, troubleshooting, and integration activities in HIL/SIL environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration, validation, and verification activities for embedded control systems
• Support HIL/SIL/MIL testing and debugging activities
• Analyze system requirements and ensure proper test coverage
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams to resolve integration issues
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot system-level issues
• Develop and execute validation test procedures and test plans
• Support CAN communication analysis using CAN tools
• Participate in bench testing, vehicle testing, and system bring-up activities
• Review logs, analyze defects, and support issue resolution
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful feature integration and validation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Validation, Integration, or Verification
• Experience with HIL/SIL environments and system-level testing
• Knowledge of embedded systems and ECU functionality
• Experience with CAN communication protocols and diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe, CANalyzer, dSPACE, or similar tools
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional engineering environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive or off-highway/heavy machinery industry experience
• Embedded software or controls background
• Experience with AUTOSAR and diagnostics
• Python or CAPL scripting exposure
• Understanding of system architecture and software integration processes
