Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Performing powertrain function analysis and function decomposition
- Requirement elicitation activities from system to SW and traceability over V-cycle
- Propulsion system high level functional requirement artifact creation in IBM DOORS/IBM DOORS
- Next Gen (DNG) including attribute classifications
- Propulsion System Operating Modes Identification, Analysis and Documentation in DNG
- Propulsion System energy conversion, storage and delivery understanding and requirement
- development considering standards and OBD complaince
- Participate in the Agile Methodology to plan product backlog and identify potential risks
- Develop simulation/virtual models for specific propulsion features/functions using MATLAB,
- SysML Rhapsody
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Electronics Engineering other related
- Engineering degree
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in conventional and hybrid powertrain development
- Good understanding on overall vehicle dynamics and vehicle system functioning
- Good understanding automotive powertrain architecture
- Proficient in requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS Next Gen etc
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Vector Tools for data collection
- Vehicle Validation or Powertrain Calibration experience
- Familiarity with Agile project management
- Experience with overall vehicle development cycle and Change management process
- Good communication skills, able to lead meeting with cross functional team
